The enzyme lactase contained in Lactrase splits the lactose and thus takes over the function of the body’s own lactase, which is lacking in lactose intolerance. The capsules should be taken immediately before or with food or drinks containing lactose. The capsules are easy to open. Simply press the capsule together slightly and pull the two capsule halves apart at the same time.
